We see beauty hacks on social media all the time, some have been around since our mothers were young and others have just begun. Following the “girl code” I want to pass along three beauty hacks that have literally been the best yet.

  1. Johnson and Johnson baby shampoo as face wash. I know some might be a bit skeptical about this one, but I have been using it for years and I always have clear skin. I have used many facial cleansers to help eliminate impurities, and I’ve spent a lot of money on these products, but nothing has worked as great as baby shampoo. Not to mention it removes makeup like mascara so easily! (no hard scrubbing needed) Honestly if you’re looking for a new product to wash your face with, give Johnson and Johnson Baby shampoo a try. It is designed for babies so it won’t be harsh on your skin, plus you can find It in any drug store for an affordable price.
  2. T-shirt shower cap, so I recently discovered this amazing hack from a local blogger and it is a must do! If you shower after a visit to the salon and have fresh blow-dried hair and you’re scared to get it wet, think no more! Throwing a T-shirt inside out on your hair actually keeps the humidity away and you don’t have to worry about any pony tail creases. Place the T-shirt over your head and make sure you tucked in all of your hair, then wrap the rest of the shirt with a pony tail (make sure not to accidentally tie parts of your  hair to avoid creases).
  3. Castor oil  is your new best friend! For the ladies who want to grow their eyebrows even or want longer lashes try using castor oil every night before bed. The application is easy! My eyebrow lady got a bit excited with the tweezers and plucked one of by eyebrows too much. For only 3 nights I used castor oil on the brow and my eyebrows evened out again! Imagine what this oil can do in a longer period of time?

There you go, 3 beauty hacks I live for. Hopefully I inspired you to try it on your own!
