After a week of fundraising money, recruiting dancers and raising awareness, 10 contestants came together in front of over 300 people to share their passion for the cause behind Roarthon, Children Miracle Network Hospitals.
During the first round of the pageant contestants gave their introductions, chose their favorite Dr.Suess book and explained how it related to Roarthon. They then moved on to show the audience their very own line dance.
After the elimination process, the contestants moved the crowed as they each gave a speech explaining why they wanted to be Mr. or Miss. Roarthon and what they would do if they were given the title.
At the end of the night, Juan Ferrer and Alexandra Cordoso were crowned Mr and Miss Roarthon. Overall, contestants raised over $4,000 for Nicklaus Children’s Hospital.
