Niall Horan has released his new single, “Nice To Meet Ya,” and its music video on October 4.

The song is a new release following Horan’s two year old album Flicker, which came out October 2017.

“Nice To Meet Ya” is a new sound for Horan when compared to his first album debut. The song’s rock, up-beat tempo is introduced with the piano, humming, and hand claps. As the song progresses, the beat picks up, perfectly matching Horan’s love-at-first-sight lyrics: “Nice to meet ya/What’s your name/Let me treat ya/To a drink.”

Horan told The Telegraph in an interview, “I’ve written 60 songs for this album. I can be rational and irrational, spend three days on a chorus, write 10 crap songs to get one good one. Sometimes you bump into a hit along the way, and that’s the best feeling in the world. There’s no better.”

Fans have been going crazy for the singer’s new music before it was even released. On September 25th, over a week before the song was released, Horan tweeted out the link to his website www.niallhoran.com and fans immediately crashed the site.

Fans were also taking to Twitter, tweeting screenshots of the music video where Horan confirmed there are easter eggs to his future music: names of songs on the new album and a phone number that plays a snippet of his new music when you call it.

Horan has been in the spotlight lately. Between the release of his new music, magazine interviews, and the fundraiser he held for his birthday to help the Red Cross in the Bahamas and WWF, it seems like Niall Horan has done it all.
