Disney+ is a subscription streaming service by The Walt Disney Company. You can find every movie or TV show related to Disney. Disney+ has created its own original content for the platform, such as original documentaries, movies, and shows that are related to the franchises, company, or theme parks. I curated a list of some of my favorite binge-able content to make quarantine a little more magical!

If you want to watch a TV show…

If you’re feeling nostalgic, you may want to check out some of those Disney comedies from your childhood. There are shows from Even Stevens, That’s So Raven and Phil of the Future to Hannah Montana, Wizards of Waverly Place, or The Suite Life of Zack & Cody. Disney+ also has cartoons, like Kim Possible or Phineas and Ferb. The very first show I watched was Suite Life because it was my favorite when I was younger and I loved getting to rewatch some episodes!

The Mandalorian takes place in the Star Wars universe. I saw this show before the movies and wow, I cannot recommend this enough! The description of the first episode is: “A Mandalorian bounty hunter tracks a target for a well-paying, mysterious client.” The most notable character of the series, of course, is The Child (or more commonly known as “Baby Yoda”). As of right now, there are 8 episodes that are perfect to binge!

As a guilty pleasure, High School Musical: The Musical: The Series. This show is a musical docu-series style comedy that follows along with students who attend the high school where High School Musical was filmed. The school’s drama department decides to put on the movie as its yearly production, and boy is there drama! I’ll admit, I did watch the whole show in one day- it exceeded my expectations!

If you want to watch a movie…

The very first movie series I can recommend is the Star Wars films. All the movies are available to stream on Disney+. They’re relatively long for a movie, but they keep the viewer engaged and entertained. I watched Star Wars for the first time recently when I was going to Galaxy’s Edge in Disney World and I wanted to be informed before I went. Now, I love the series and can’t recommend it enough. It’s 2020, if you haven’t seen Star Wars yet, this is the perfect time to do so!

All of the Marvel Cinematic Universe films are also streaming on Disney+. You can watch the hero’s films individually or you can stream the entire series in order. Similarly, the Toy Story franchise is a great series to watch if you’re feeling nostalgic and want to live life with the toys from Andy’s backyard. Toy Story films 1-4 are all online.

If you want to watch a documentary…

The Imagineering Story. Wow. It’s a docu-series that in-depth shows how each Walt Disney World theme park around the world was made. There is a history about the company and it really offers an inside look at the company. If you’ve ever been interested in how the magic of Walt Disney World works, please watch this series!

If you’re in the mood for romance, Disney’s Fairy Tale Weddings does just what the title suggests- it gives couples their dream wedding. The weddings take place in either the theme parks or on-property resorts. It’s so nice to see really pretty and expensive weddings, to be honest.

One Day at Disney follows alongside 10 people who work at Disney and is a great, hour-long special to watch.

National Geographic and Disney Nature also have their films on the streaming platform. National Geographic’s Drain Alcatraz is a short documentary about the infamous prison.

There are just a few recommendations to get your binge on. Now go, stream Disney+ until your heart desires!
