I guess even Emma Watson can make mistakes because apparently the starlet walked down the 90th Academy Awards red carpet rocking not only a gorgeous black velvet Ralph Lauren gown, but a grammatically incorrect tattoo as well. Watson attempted to show support for the Time’s Up movement, which was designed to create awareness and ultimately end sexual harassment. I guess Emma and her entourage decided it would be a wonderful way l to showing her support for the movement, and it probably would have made a fascinating statement if the actual tattoo was written properly.
Now if you don’t let the really expensive jewelry get in the way of observing the tattoo, you can clearly notice that something is off. The missing apostrophe in “Times” has made the world go absolutely ballistic due to the fact that Emma herself is an English major. Yikes. The internet immediately took note on the vile act of offense and made it known that they were not ok with the crime that was committed against the English grammar.
The shade and the dragging got to such extent that Emma herself took to twitter to make light of the situation like the elegant woman she is. I’m sure next time Emma tries to rock some sort of statement tattoo she will check twice before showing it to the public.
