What are you involved in on campus?

  • I am a sister of Alpha Xi Delta, a Panther Camp facilitator, I participated in the 2014 Homecoming Council, I participated in FIU’s Alternative Breaks,  I am a member of the PINK Street Team, I am an Academy of Leaders graduate, I am the Rose for the fraternity Beta Theta Pi, I have been a Peer Mentor, recently I was initiated into Order of Omega, I am the founding vice president for the organization SAP which is the Suicide Prevention Organization, and I am the 2015 Homecoming Princess.

How do you make time for all these great involvements?

  • Well I am passionate about every single one of these! I spend lots of time on campus, and I like keeping busy, being involved for me is a very fulfilling feeling.

What has been your favorite involvement?

  • There’s too many to count, but if I had to name a few I’d say Panther Camp for the great memories it has given me and definitely being able to start SAP as an organization here on campus and having the support of my sisters and the gentlemen of Beta Theta Pi that I have been fortunate enough to get close to.

What are your plans after graduation?

  • My goal is to receive my master’s, maybe even work for a non-profit organization, recently I’ve thought about becoming a life coach. I’m excited for what the future holds for me! I love to inspire people and if I can get a job doing that then I’d be beyond happy!

What has been your most memorable moment here at FIU?

  • Too many to count honestly, from the moment I got my bid from Alpha Xi Delta, to becoming a Beta Rose, to being a Facilitator for Panther Camp and everything in between. I’ve made such beautiful memories in all my involvements that I can’t just name one.

What advice do you have for incoming Panthers?

  • Definitely going to Panther Camp is a great way to start, but also putting in your best foot forward. You get what you put in, so make sure to put in your all and be able to graduate the best possible version of yourself!
