It is probably the most talked about book of the year. It sold 725,000 books on the first day, making it the second best seller of 2018 and for good reasons. Michelle Obama is not leaving anything out of her book. The former First Lady, just released her first autobiography.  The book talks about her life in Chicago, how she fell in love with Former President Barack Obama, and her life as the First Lady.

It was announced last year that she was working on a book. It was not until May 24th, when the former First Lady released the cover of her book on Instagram. Ever since then, there has been an enormous amount of publicity. Inquiring minds were trying to figure out what Michelle would talk about in the book. If she would talk about how she met Barack? If she would talk about her days in college? Any secrets she knew during the Presidency. However, Michelle kept it true to herself and focused the book on her. Her life. Her life in her hometown, Chicago, her life when she went off to Princeton and Harvard Law School, her life when she met and married Barack Obama, and her life as a politician wife. While on her book tour, an excerpt of her book came out about when she had a miscarriage and had to go through IVF to conceive her two daughters. She also talked about how she and Barack went to marriage counseling to work on their relationship.

This book has been getting a tremendous amount of publicity and for good reason. Not only do we get a better insight into Michelle Obama and the Obama Family. We also get a look into some of the struggles Michelle went through. Some of these struggles resonate with many women across the global. There is a reason why this book is the second best selling book of 2018.
