As the days led up to the weekend of XiBA, the ladies of Alpha Xi Delta raised awareness and over two thousand dollars for their philanthropy, Autism Speaks. They held bake sales, raffles, and sold adorable “Are you Kidding?” socks! Autism Speaks week had its grand finale at Alpha Xi Delta’s annual three on three basketball tournament, better known as XiBA. Teams from different organizations came together and showed off their B-ball skills as they played for a fifteen dollar gift card to Starbucks. Luckily this event was not exclusive to the Michael Jordans and the Kobe Bryants of FIU, spectators were welcome to bring their four legged pals, and sit on blankets in the shade as they cheered on their favorite teams.
