3 Fall Family Activities to do in South Florida

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at FIU chapter.

The month of October can be a very exciting time. Fall signifies the beginning of the holidays seasons as to Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Years are coming next. My family usually starts off the holiday trifecta by enjoying quality time participating in Fall activities. Below I have mentioned 3 of my favorite Halloween/Fall activities in South Florida, that you can enjoy with your families.

House of Horror Miami

Since taking a break back in 2018, House of Horror Miami is making a comeback in 2021. House of Horror is a haunted carnival that offers 4 haunted houses, carnival foods, rides and much more! This year, the carnival is bigger and better than ever offering 4 haunted houses to its guests. House of Horror (HOH) is located in International Mall and is open to anyone. The haunted houses are available for anyone 7 years or older. The ticket price can range from $15-$25 per person, including access to all haunted houses and rides.

Haunted Circus Miami

The Haunted Circus Miami is located in Tropical Park. Its grand opening was September 16 and will be available util October 31st. The carnival tickets are somewhat pricey, costing about $39 per person. However admissions includes fun activities like circus shows, face painting, pumpkin carvings and much more! The Haunted Carnival is available for kids and adults, making it an incredible family experience.

The berry farms halloween event

After cancelling the event in 2020, The Berry Farms halloween event is coming back bigger and better. The event tickets cost about $25 per person, offering a night of trick-or-treating inside the haunted corn maze. The halloween event will only be held October 23, 29-30. The event requires all participants to wear a halloween costume.
