1. She threatens to kill the heir to the throne, Prince Joffrey
When Arya is on the road to King’s Landing in the beginning of season 1, she is practicing with her sword when Joffrey comes over with Sansa. Joffrey begins to hurt Arya’s friends, so Arya hits him with her stick. Lady, Sansa’s pet wolf, attacks Joffrey, and he ends up on the ground. Arya then takes Joffrey’s sword and Joffrey pleas for his life. Arya is one of the few that stood up to Joffrey.
2. She denies that she is a Lady
Time and time again Arya defies societal normalities in Westeros. Even though she has Stark blood which makes her a Lady, she does not want to be associated with that title. Unlike Sansa, she believes it is stupid to seek out a husband and instead she wants to fight for House Stark.
3. She has a list of all of the people she wants to kill
Although she has not killed all of the people on her list, she will never forget those names. The people on her list are The Hound, Meryn Trant, Cersei Lannister, Joffrey Baratheon, Ilyn Payne, Polliver, The Mountain, Rorge, Walder Frey, Tywin Lannister, Melisandre, Beric Dondarrion and Thoros of Myr. Yes her list is very long, but she has killed a few on her list and now we wait to see if she finally kills Cersei too.
4. Successfully defeats The Waif in the darkness
Arya loses her ability to see because she disobeyed the faceless man. The Waif comes and attacked her multiple times when she was blind. Arya learns how to fight in the dark and when it is finally time to actually fight The Waif, she wins!
5. She escapes her punishments the faceless man
Arya’s goal was to become a faceless man, but when asked to kill Lady Crane she refuses. She learned that Lady Crane was a kind person and decides to ignore her order to kill her. As a result, she is almost killed, but she gets away and Lady Crane nurses her back to health.
6. She made the first move with Gendry
Right before the Battle of Winterfell, Arya initiates the intimate moment that she had with Gendry. Arya decided that she did not want to die a virgin, so she made the first move with Gendry.
7. She turned down a proposal, even though she loved him
Once Gendry is made a Lord, he asks for Arya to take her hand in marriage and be his Lady. As said before, she denies that she is a Lady, so she turns down the proposal even though she did love him.
8. She killed the Knight King
Enough said. She did what no one in Westeros did. She killed the biggest threat to society.
