Shopping is fun and can be relaxing, but in order to strive to be a conscious consumer, there are a few things you can ask yourself before you make a purchase.

1. Do I already own something similar to this?

2. Am I going to wear this often?

3. Is this something I need to buy new, or can I get it second hand?

4. Do I own clothes I can wear this with?

5. Is this something I will quickly grow out of, get sick of, or will go out of style?
