One of my absolute favorite things to do during the holiday season is to curl up on the couch with some hot chocolate and watch christmas movies. Despite the pandemic, there are still a few holiday movies coming out this year that I am very excited for. Since it is never too early for christmas, here is a list of movies coming out this season:
- ‘Holidate’

This Netflix movie starring Emma Roberts and Luke Bracey was released on October 28th. The movie follows two complete strangers who agree to be each other’s plus-one for holidays.
- ‘The Princess Switch: Switched Again’

This movie starring Vanessa Hudgens is a sequel to last year’s The Princess Switch and was released on Netflix on November 19th.
- ‘Happiest Season’

Happiest Season will appear on Hulu on November 25th. The movie, starring Kristen Stewart and Mackenzie Davis, follows a woman who is planning on proposing to her girlfriend during her family’s annual Christmas dinner.
- ‘Jingle Jangle: A Christmas Journey’

Jingle Jangle: A Christmas Journey was released on Netflix on November 13th. The movie follows the story of a toymaker and his granddaughter. The movie features original songs by Phillip Lawernce, John Legend, Davy Nathan, and a performance of “This Day” bu Usher and Kiana Ledé.
- ‘The Christmas Chronicles 2’

This sequel to The Christmas Chronicles will be released on Netflix on November 25th. The movie stars Kurt Russell, Goldie Hawn and Judah Lewis. The story follows a teenager who is reunited with Santa when someone threatens Christmas.
- ‘Dolly Parton’s Christmas on the Square’

This musical film about saving a small town with music, magic and memories was released on Netflix on November 22nd. The movie was directed, choreographed and produced by Debbie Allen.
