Holiday Gift Guide Under $50

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at FIT chapter.

I absolutely love the holiday season as one of my favorite parts about it is giving people gifts. As a broke college student, I’m on a budget when buying gifts and I’m sure you are too. Here’s a list of some items anyone will love to receive this holiday season all under $50.

1. Bernat Blanket

I plan on making a few of these big bernat blankets to give to family members. This DIY blanket has been all over my Pinterest and is actually super simple to make. Everyone loves a good blanket and a homemade one shows just how much you care about the receiver.

2. Custom Glass Album Cover

This creative gift will make whoever you give it to feel so special. You can put a photo of you and your friend or family member along with their favorite song. It’s something they can cherish forever.

3. Candles

Candles are an easy and affordable gift. Some people are more sensitive to scents, so two safer ones to pick from could be lavender or eucalyptus. Both are very relaxing and not too strong.

4. Cookbook

I love receiving cookbooks as a gift. Some days it’s so hard to think of new meals every night, but I also hate eating the same dinner too often. A cookbook solves this issue that many of us face on a daily basis. Here’s one written by Chrissy Teigen.

5. Coffee Maker

Who doesn’t love coffee? A coffee maker doesn’t have to be super expensive to make great coffee. Here’s one with great reviews at a fair price. Pair it with a pack of their favorite coffee shop’s ground coffee beans and you have the perfect gift for a coffee lover.

I hope this list makes the holiday season a little less stressful. These unique gifts will for sure make anyone smile!
