Yes, you can use a Dove bar soap, but you won’t see the same results as you will with Clinique. Clinique has designed a three step skincare routine and their soap is step one. There are a variety of soaps that can be used based on skin conditions such as acne, oil, and dryness.
2. Exfoliater

This is step two out of three. Like their soap, Clinique’s exfoliater also offers different products depending on the skin type. Exfoliation is known as “the difference-maker”. The reason it has received this name is because it is smoothes the skin and removes pollution and grime away from the skin.
3. Moisturizer

This is the last step in the system. Clinique has a variety of moisturizers to choose from, however, the one most commonly paired with the three step is the DML lotion – Dramatically Different™ Moisturizing Lotion. If you have dry skin, you would get the lotion gel, and the jelly for combination skin. Clinique has also launched ID; this is a cartridge that you can insert into your DML moisture for an extra boost. There are many different cartridges depending on what part of your skin needs to be focused on. Be sure to use all three of the steps listed above twice a day, morning and night.
4. Foundation

There are a variety of foundations that you can choose from depending on your skin type and the coverage you are looking for. Each foundation also has multiple shades that will help to match your skin color. 5. Makeup remover
Take the Day Off™ Micellar Cleansing Towelettes, Clinique, $16, shop now
There are a couple different makeup removers to choose from, but my personal favorite is Take The Day Off™, which comes in different formulas from balm to cleansing oil. The wipes are my personal favorite! It is important to remove your makeup and wash your face every night to keep your skin clear.
