FAMU, No Fall Break?

 FAMU is one of the few schools that does not have a fall break? Why not?  Our students work just as hard, and despite what society may say about HBCU’s, our work is just as strenuous.

I asked a few students around campus how they felt about FAMU not having a fall break. Most answers were pretty similar. Students felt that we should have a fall break somewhere in early October. One student thought that homecoming week should be considered fall break.

The students have spoken and FAMU students want a fall break.

With Thanksgiving Break over, maybe FAMU will decide to extend the break next year, especially with it being a few days after The Florida Classic.  This would be an awesome gift to those students who have to worry about a quick turn around period.
