After a long week of homework, tests, and pestering professors, it is finally the weekend! It’s time to relax and put up your feet. You call your friends to find out no one has any plans. Well, Tally ET can fix that for you! Tally ET is an anonymous website that lists information about local events going on in Tallahassee. From concerts to school activities, it all can be found on the site. HC FAMU got in contact with an inside source for an interview.
HC FAMU: What exactly is Tally ET and how did it get started?
TE: It’s a “source young people can use to find out events any day.”
HC FAMU: How and why did it get started?
TE: It started to get experience in marketing. We didn’t know what has happening unless it was on Facebook or someone we knew was throwing something. We wanted a way to unite all Tallahassee college students.
HC FAMU: Does it cost for events to be posted on the website?
TE: On the regular calendar, no. But on future calendars, yes.
HC FAMU: Does Tally ET sponsor any events?
TE: Yes, we help promote if we have the funds at the time of an event.
HC FAMU: What is the future for Tally ET?
TE: We’re looking into expansion and creating other websites for cities like Jacksonville, Orlando, Gainvesville, Tampa, etc. Also to get more revenue.
