5 Ways For Single Girls to Spend Valentine’s Day

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Falmouth chapter.

Valentine’s Day can be depressing when you’re single, but there are tons of ways to make it enjoyable even if you don’t have someone to spend it with. Below are 5 ways to brighten up your February 14th this year!

1. Chocolate!

This is the best cure for any singleton on Valentine’s Day! You get to eat lots of chocolate without feeling guilty and you don’t even have to share! Go out to the shops the night before and stock up on some sweet treats for the big day.

2. Make a point to spend time with the people you love most.

The love between your family or your best friends are also worth celebrating; having a chilled-out day catching up and baking and eating sweet treats is just as fun!

3. Pamper yourself.

Run yourself a relaxing bath, put on a face mask, pour a glass of wine, paint your nails and chill out! It’s just as important to set time aside for yourself and Valentine’s Day is the perfect day to love to yourself (everyday is a good day too!).

4. Host a party at yours.

Invite all of your friends and family over to yours and set out lots of tasty treats and nice drinks; play board cards, card games, or even watch a film! Valentine’s Day is also about celebrating non-romantic relationships.

5. Get glam.

Book an appointment at the haridressers and treat yo’ self.
