The Class of 2024’s top five majors include nursing, biology, psychology, finance, and marketing.

“We are delighted by the size, academic quality, and geographic diversity of this year’s applicant pool,” said Corry Unis, vice president for enrollment management.

“The strong growth in applications is a sign of the cumulative effect of all of the positive momentum on campus. The admission team is looking forward to shaping and selecting the next class of Stags,” Unis continued.

Fairfield University is currently ranked #1 for Best Undergraduate Teaching in Regional Universities North and #3 in Regional Universities North in the U.S. News Report 2020 edition of Best Colleges. They can also take part in the Shadow a Stag program, where they can learn about life at Fairfield from a current student, who will take them to class, introduce them to faculty, and answer their questions over lunch. The Shadow a Stag program starts Thursday, February 20 and runs through Tuesday, April 28.

The University’s Fairfield in Focus admitted student visit days are held on April 5 and April 18, and are crucial for students to understand more about their future at Fairfield.
