1. Sunnies

A pair of sunglasses is a must for a bright sunny day at the beach. You can go with your basic pair of aviators or switch it up with a fun shaped frame. Either way, be sure to have a staple pair in your bag wherever you go.

2. Chapstick Not only does your skin need to be moisturized but your lips do as well. Your lips can get sunburned too, so a chapstick with SPF is important for those hot days in the sun.

3. Sun Tan Lotion

It is key to take care of your skin in the sun. Proper protection is necessary to prevent skin cancer and any other damage to your skin. Yes, we all want that sun kissed glow, but skin protection needs to be your main priority.

4. H20  Hydration is key on spring break. It is so important to stay hydrated if you’re going to be spending the entire day in the hot sun. A cute water bottle is also a perfect way to spice up your spring break attire.

5. A Lightweight Knit Cover Up

A lightweight cover up is a necessity when going to the beach. Cover ups are easy to throw into your bag, or onto your body for a day at the beach or by the pool. Plus, they come in many different colors and patterns.

6. Sea Salt Spray

Specifically, Not Your Mother’s sea salt spray. This spray works wonders for your hair after a day by the ocean and enhances your beachy waves, giving you that freely tousled look.

7.  A Good Read You may not consider yourself a book lover, or someone that enjoys to read in their free time, but reading while on vacation brings a whole new level of relaxation. Whether you decide to read a book or a magazine, you’ll definitely want to have one or the other on hand.

8. A Floppy Hat Sometimes the sun really can get to your head; having a floppy hat on hand is a perfect way to give your melon some much-needed shade.

9. Go Pro and/or Selfie Stick

You know you’re going to be taking a lot of pictures and videos, so these tech gadgets are both necessities in order to capture the most perfect memories. Have fun with these, it’s going to be a break to remember!
