Valentine’s Day is around the corner, Collegiettes. Single or taken, it’s still possible to make the day enjoyable. We have compiled a list of 4 ~swoon worthy~ books to check out this Valentine’s Day. Sometimes, a fictional boyfriend will do for the day.

1.Save the Date by Morgan Matson:

If you’re looking for a cutesy read this Valentine’s Day, this would be it. There definitely is a romance element to it (obviously, the book is centered around a wedding), but it has a strong family aspect to it. This is perfect read for someone who is looking for something Valentine’s Day-related without being too heavy on the romance.

2.A Court of Thorns and Roses by Sarah J. Maas:

Who says that Valentine’s reads have to be limited to contemporary books? Maas’s book, which is part of a trilogy, has a great blend of the magical and the romantic. It serves as an edgy fantastical retelling of Beauty and the Beast, but this time, with fairies. This is one book you surely will not be able to put down.

3.To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before by Jenny Han:

We know that you all have seen the Netflix original film, but don’t forget about the source material. It’s just as adorable as the movie and of course, is somewhat different. If you saw the movie first, that means you will still find a few surprises! What better way to wait for the sequel movie than to read the original? If you love the book so much, as we are sure you will, there are two other books in the series. The second book is of course P.S. I Still Love You.

4.It Ends With Us by Colleen Hoover:

When it comes to romances along with serious topics, Colleen Hoover is a pro. This book definitely has romantic parts that will make you swoon, but it has a powerful message as well. Hoover will have you feeling all of the feels with this book. We’re sure that the message will be an important one you will not forget.

(Trigger warning: there is relationship violence in the book.)
