Undecided? No Worries! Everything You Need to Know About the Major & Minor Fair

  Ladies, we all know that picking a major or minor is a tough decision. There are numerous fields and options one could choose to pursue and study. Choosing one (or a few) major/minor(s) is hard enough, so there shouldn’t be any bad vibes surrounding the process. Luckily, the CAS Majors & Minors Fair is your one-stop solution. Here is all the information you need to know!

 

Date & Time: Tuesday, October 16

10 a.m. – 2 p.m.

 

Location: Oak Room, BCC

 

    Chairs, directors, and faculty members from each of the departments and programs in the College of Arts & Sciences will be present. The School of Nursing, School of Engineering, Dolan School of Business, and Graduate School of Education and Allied Professions will also be in attendance so no matter what school your apart of, the staff will be there to assist you!  

 

If you are lucky and do find a major/minor that you are interested in, representatives from the Registrar will have major and minor forms available on site.

 

Attention: for all first-year students, this event counts as an FYE Inspire Credit!

 

After experiencing the fair, you could possibly win the door prize of $500 to buy books for the upcoming semester! #blessed

 

Danielle Vazzano is a senior at Fairfield University and is from New York City. She is majoring in English/Professional Writing and minoring in Politics and Catholic Studies. Some of her favorite things include hanging out with friends, reading, and exploring. She studied abroad in Florence, Italy during the Spring 2019 semester.
Alexis DiZenzo is a motivated Connecticut native. She attends Fairfield University where she is majoring in digital journalism and minoring in marketing. She is currently co-campus corespondent of Fairfield's Her Campus chapter. Along with managing Her Campus Fairfield, Alexis has interned with The Secured Lender Magazine, and NBC Sports. She is a contributing writer for Elite Daily as well as Thought Catalog. In the early stages of her college career, Alexis has taken the initiative to reach far among the stars and achieve goals early on. She has a great sense of editing, writing, publishing, marketing and leadership as well as strong interpersonal skills. (And a fun-loving, outgoing personality!)
