Turbos can be either a college student’s saving grace or biggest curse, since there are pros and cons to having one class a week for two and a half hours. However, turbos are mostly unavoidable throughout four years of college, so at some point every collegiette will have the experience. Here are thoughts that every student has during a turbo:
1. The mental preparation before going to a turbo is real. The thought of having to sit in a class for two and a half hours can be worse than all the ~Sunday scaries~ combined.
2. Then there needs to be the actual preparation, which includes dressing in the essential leggings and sweatshirt. It’s a two and half hour class, so being comfortable is way more important than looking cute. Oh, and don’t forget a large coffee – it’s crucial!
3. Class has officially started! Two and half hours to go, but least you can stare at the hot guy who you’ve been crushing on – definitely a turbo perk.
4. Looking at the clock and realizing it has only been a half hour and you still have two more hours to go is ~rough~. How is class not over yet? It feels like it has been an eternity!
5. Struggling to keep your eyes open is a common occurrence during your turbo. You wonder if the professor can tell how exhausted you are.
6. The professor lets everyone take a break – hallelujah! Taking a break and going outside for a little while is amazing and just what you needed. Half way there, collegiettes!
7. After taking a little break, you are ready to go: taking notes and asking questions because you are a ~true lady boss~!
8. There’s only a half hour left and the hunger is starting to set in. You just can’t wait to go to The Stag after this. Is it bad to day dream about the future sandwich you’ll eat?
9. Class is finally over! Congrats collegiettes, you made it through! Well, until next week’s turbo.
