Teen Vogue to Shut Down Print Edition

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Fairfield chapter.

Condé Nast, the publisher of Teen Vogue, has decided to stop producing the print edition of the hit magazine. The company will still invest in the digital platform, since it is accounting for a majority of the media brand’s revenue, but the print issues will be taken off newsstands. This transition is due to the increased growth of digital traffic on their pages increasing from 1.4 million in April 2015 to 8.27 million as of this past October.

Print magazine sales are declining across the board, but the success of Teen Vogue’s digital presence has been impressive and I’m sure that they will continue to release stellar content online!
