New York Fashion Week; a favorite for beauty and fashion lovers trying to get in on the latest trends. While we wait for the clothes to come out in the fall, we maintain our patience by trying out the latest beauty trends to walk the runway. This year’s trends include, the return of the bob, statement-making eye shadow and liner, and bold hair accessories.
Makeup Trends
This year at New York Fashion Week we saw multiple eye-makeup looks; a lot of bold colors were chosen by designers. Models for designer, Oscar de La Renta, sported bright colored shadows, such as purples, reds, and blues. Shadow was also used in placement of top eye-liner, a trend that will be sure to stick.
A fresh-faced look was also used this year, like at Calvin Klein’s show. The models sported a minimal makeup look, with just a dab of silver shadow on the corners of the eyes. This is a must try for people who have no time, or are just not into wearing a lot of make-up. The light shadow brightens up your eyes.
Alexander Wang opted for a darker make up look, having Bella Hadid and Kendall Jenner walk the runway with a smudged eyeliner look. This trend is a favorite and a perfect look for nights out.
