Spring Break Outfit Ideas for Every Collegiette’s Travel Needs

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Fairfield chapter.

Let the final countdown begin…Spring Break is just days away and we couldn’t be more excited! Even if your plans don’t involve escaping to a tropical oasis, relaxing at home with family and friends can be just as fun. No matter what your schedule involves, we’ve compiled some pretty ~fab~ outfit ideas for any type of weather or occasion. Get ready to rock your style on a most well-deserved stress-free week!

1.) Sporty Chic

Who doesn’t want to wear a baseball cap with their heather grey peacoat? This look is perfect for a lunch or coffee date with friends. While the jeans and baseball cap have the casual vibe locked down, the winter peacoat and black blouse incorporate a touch of sophistication. If you’re feeling extra trend savvy, try wearing neutral colored heels or boots.

2.) Still Wintertime in the City

Even though it’s the beginning of March, cold temps have a habit of lingering into early spring. With that, winter trends continue to remain on everyone’s radar. If you’re spending some time in snowy Boston or NYC, this outfit is a definite must. It transitions beautifully from day to night and let’s be honest, those high-knee boots are so fashionable! Definitely include the scarf for an extra element of warmth and those sunnies to remind you that summer is ~so close~.

3.) Let’s Go to the Beach

Adding a touch of bohemian style is always a good idea. For those days when you’re actually in the mood to wear more than a bikini ocean-side, this is the cutest look! High-low skirts look so effortless and carefree, you’ll feel lighter than air! Pair with a white tank for a ~gorg~ contrast of color. Don’t forget your fedora and sunnies for your picturesque stroll on the beach.

4.) Fun in the Sun

Trend alert! This is definitely one of our ~fav~ outfits for strutting the boardwalk. Flowy crop tops and palazzo pants filled with vibrant feel-good colors is a collegiette’s spring break dream! Wedges or T-strap sandals would compliment this whole summery vibe amazingly well. You could even opt to wear this outfit in a quaint town shopping or sightseeing.

5.) Spring has Sprung

It is entirely possible that spring temps will make an appearance sooner rather than later. If this happens, what better way to embrace it than with this street style ensemble. We especially love the kimono style sweater as a seasonal transition piece. It’s so lightweight, casual, and super comfy. It’s even binge-watching Netflix with friends approved!

Have an extra stylish Spring Break collegiettes! HCXO
