Reputation is Fire: A Review of Taylor Swift’s New Album

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Fairfield chapter.

The old Taylor Swift might be dead, but the new one is better than ever! I have been listening to Reputation on repeat for the last two days because it’s just that ~amazing~. The album is nothing short of exhilarating, empowering, and real.

Although I was a little upset the album wasn’t on Spotify on its release date, Taylor’s artistry is definitely worth purchasing a copy. My personal favorites from the album are “End Game” (feat Ed Sheeran & Future), “I Did Something Bad,” and “Don’t Blame Me,” which are some of the more upbeat songs. Taylor might be throwing shade in her new sound, but the truth hurts sometimes and I commend Taylor for showing her true feelings in this new era.

Congratulations Taylor on another masterpiece!
