Ten years ago today, one of the most-watched finales aired on television. For ten seasons, Joey, Chandler, Monica, Rachel, Ross and Phoebe taught us the meaning of friendship while making us laugh uncontrollably. Here are some of the life lessons we have learned from Friends over the years.

1. Never count in Mississippi’s when spray tanning

No one wants to be an eight

2. Setting your friend up with your boss probably won’t end well

3. Everyone has an awkward stage

4. Get excited about the little things

5. Make sure you tell your friends when and who you are dating

6. Humidity is everyone’s worst enemy

7. Breaks don’t count

8. Guys like bubble baths too

9. This is the best way to end a fight between your best friends

10. It’s important to make an entrance

11. Dance like no one is watching

12. When all else fails, it’s okay to act like a kid

13. Embrace the way you look

14. Love always finds its’ way

15. At the end of the day your friends are the family you choose

Thank you to Friends for giving us years of laughs and life lessons!
