One of the world’s most renowned fashion designers Tom Ford has dazzled the world yet again by making history on Friday, February 20th. Ford surprised the fashion sphere by holding his Autumn/Winter Women’s wear 2015 collection in the middle of London Fashion Week. This is the first time ever that Ford has revealed one of his lines on the west coast. Talk about a leap of faith and one of the hottest show tickets to have!

Ford was successful at having a turn out of celebrities like Miley Cyrus, Beyoncé, and J.Lo to name a few. The creative and sexy collection will surely be seen in fall street style.

Ford explained in an interview that this line was sexy but toned down to really accentuate the strong woman. He also commented on the inspiration of the line coming from the mid 70’s minimalism with a modern twist.

At Milk Studios Los Angeles, Ford created a dim lighted chic, yet romantic setting. The runway was covered in creamy white rose petals and later in the show; rose petals were cascading from the ceiling on the models as they strutted down the runway in evening gowns.

The models wore their hair elegantly braided with bronze sultry make-up with loads of mascara, which Ford refers to as “shaggable eyes”. The new collection is filled with plunging necklines, fitted sequin dresses, patched denim, color acccented heels, an abundance of fringe and just the right amount of black leather. See some of the pieces below.
