It has been over a month since the start of quarantine, and the list of things to do is starting to dwindle down. With the extra down time, I’ve been trying to focus on taking care of myself—specifically my skin! Skin care is so important to keep up with regularly, and this extra time is ~perfect~ to invest it in your skin! Here is what I’ve been doing to keep up with my skin during quarantine.

Starting at nighttime, I wash my face with Clinique’s 7 Day Scrub Cream. I have been using this product forever and its one of my favorites! It’s a super gentle exfoliator—gentle enough to use every day. It cleans skin so well and clears up any acne! I have dry/combination skin, and I have had no problems with this product.

For a toner, I like Thayer’s Witch Hazel with Cucumber. This product cleared my skin when I was struggling with acne, and doesn’t dry it out like most toners. It is alcohol-free and formulated to hydrate your skin. I love the refreshing scent and the cool feeling on my skin when applied. I don’t use the toner as much now that my skin has cleared up, but it has definitely been a life saver when I needed it.

Next, I go in with my serums. My current favorite and holy grail is my Hyaluronic Acid Hydrating Serum from The Inkey List. I am seriously ~obsessed~ with Hyaluronic Acid! It’s a super hydrating ingredient that draws moisture from the environment and pulls it into the skin. Hyaluronic Acid hydrates, glows, and plumps up your skin! I always look for products that contain this ingredient when purchasing moisturizers and face masks.

I’ve also been loving The Inkey List Niacinamide Oil Control Serum. This product minimizes pores, absorbs oil, and is even recommended by many beauty gurus. I recently added the serum to my skin care routine and I’m waiting for the ~amazing~ results!

To end the nighttime ritual, I use my holy grail moisturizer by CeraVe. I have been using this product on and off since middle school. Every time I try another moisturizer, I always end up back to CeraVe! It’s simple, clean, fragrance-free, and has Hyaluronic Acid! I recommend the lotion version of this product rather than the cream—I prefer the lightweight consistency of the lotion!

In the morning, I either splash my face with some cold water to wake me up, or use a gentle cleanser like CeraVe. I then use the Glossier Super Glow Serum. This product feels super clean and is great for brightening and clearing the skin. I have been using this serum for about six months, and so far it has worked great!

For a moisturizer, I use the Cicapair Tiger Grass Color Correcting Treatment by Dr Jart+. The product has a green tint to color correct any redness, and also has SPF 30. Protecting your skin from the sun is ~super~ important all year round! This moisturizer is very hydrating which is why I love using it in the morning—to prep my skin for makeup!
