Attention all One Tree Hill fans: the gang is getting back together! We were ~so excited~ to find out that some of the cast would be reuniting for a Lifetime Holiday Movie called “The Christmas Contract.” One Tree Hill has been off the air since the finale of its 9th season in April 2012 and we have missed them ever since. Unfortunately, this new movie did not bring together the whole cast, but Hilarie Burton (Peyton Sawyer), Daneel Ackles (Rachel Gatina), Robert Buckley (Clay Evans), Antwon Tanner (Antwon “Skills” Taylor), and Tyler Hilton (Chris Keller) were all in the film.
Burton played the main character, Jolie, who is trying to get over her hometown boyfriend. Ackles acts as the supportive best friend, Naomi, which is a complete character change from when she played Rachel in OTH. When Jolie finds out her ex is bringing home his new girlfriend for the holidays, they enlist Naomi’s brother Jack, played by Buckley, to accompany her home as a decoy. Spoiler alert: they fall in love!
In honor of his days as singer Chris Keller, Hilton took the stage to perform his original song “Don’t Feel Like Christmas” in the film!
