Whether it’s post-Naut or just another Friday/Saturday, a night at the Grape can go in all sorts of directions. What you can count on, however, are your friends, a good drink, and some awesome music accompanied by some killer dance moves (if you do say so yourself). No matter how long you’re there for, this is pretty much how your night at the grape goes:
You go with good intentions to only buy a few drinks.
But you didn’t bring any cash… so you have to open up a tab.
You tell yourself you won’t spend more than the minimum ($10).
Who are you kidding? You end up buying everyone around you a drink.
Mind erasers have started! I repeat, mind erasers are now on deck.
Post mind erasers: it’s now time to head to the dance floor.
You and your friends decide to do a lap around the bar to see who made it out that night. You end up saying hi to all the same people and make your way back to the dance floor.
Then you spot Dr. Noel losing himself in the music and join him for a song or two.
12:30 hits and you decide to order one last drink which you then chug because, whoops! No road sodas allowed.
*Cue Semisonic’s “Closing Time“* Another night at the Grape has ended, but that doesn’t mean you can’t continue the party at someone’s beach house.
