This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Fairfield chapter and does not reflect the views of Her Campus.

This Monday, embrace your beauty. Face it, we all get caught up looking in the mirror and picking ourselves apart daily. “My hair looks awful…” “ I hate my outfit… “ “My skin looks bad…” Not today. Today, we’re celebrating “Mirrorless Monday,” the kickoff to “Sex Week,” hosted by the Elegant Ladies Club. From now until Friday, the week will be filled with educational workshops and activities to help inform and empower us females on campus.

Don’t let yourself obsess over looking in the mirror today. If you’re in the BCC or an academic building, you will find inspiring messages written on the mirrors. On your own mirror, write an inspiring message to yourself! Keep checking our Instagram throughout the day (@HCFairfieldU) to see our favorite mirror quote. Show us your favorite mirror quote by posting a picture of it on your Twitter and/or Instagram, using the hashtag #sexweek14 and don’t forget to tag our account!

Here are the events to look forward to for the rest of the week…
