I knew I was in for a fun time with Max and Sam after being a special guest on their Stags TV show, “The Stag Report.” Even then, I didn’t think it was possible to laugh that much. These two are probably the funniest people you will ever meet, and in addition to watching their show I encourage you to read on about this weeks Campus Celebrities!

Name: Max SpinelliMajor: CommunicationMinor: Marketing and TVYear: 2015Hometown: Shelton, CT

Name: Sam ViscovichMajor: CommMinor: MarketingYear: 2015Hometown: Queens, New York

Her Campus: Okay, Sam and Max you two recently started “The Stag Report,” which is sort of like Fairfield’s own spin off to SNL’s Weekend Update. Who came up with the idea, and why did you two decide to do it together?Samantha Viscovich: Well, in the fall of 2013 I thought it would be great to utilize our media center and our film club, Stags TV. I also want to get into film production, and I love SNL and Comedy Central, so what’s better than creating my own show and getting hands on experience? I also figured if I needed to get people to watch, I also needed a really, really, good looking co-host so I reached out to Max immediately.HC: (laughs)Max Spinelli: I thought I would do her a favor, some charity work (laughs).SV: In real life though, we’ve always been really good friends and very snappy with each other.MS: There is a lot of snappy, witty dialog between us.SV: So, the world needed to see it.

HC: So, you guys think you’re really funny?SV: Obviously, I mean my mom laughs at me.MS: My mom commented twice on the last YouTube video (pauses) so you tell me Danielle.SV: My mom really viewed it like 180 times.

HC: What do you hope comes of The Stag Report?MS: Next year we want to make it more nationally based, reaching colleges all over. This year was fun doing it for Fairfield, but it was a dry run like practice because we didn’t have enough time to get it together. Next year we have a crew down so we want to start expanding!SV: I just realized this semester how uninformed I am about world events (laughs) so I realized we could deliver them in a funny manor next year!MS: Hopefully.SV: We’ll try.MS: It will be like the almost news.SV: Get ready colleges!

HC: Why should everyone watch The Stag Report?SV: We’re fabulous.MS: She mentioned the eye candy but other than that…SV: It’s just a fun time for people to take a break from studying and get some giggles out. Laughter is the best medicine!MS: I haven’t been sick all semester, and I wonder why … HC: (laughs)SV: Touché.MS: I’m hot as sh*t right now oh my gosh. I also didn’t know that anyone was typing while I got interviewed. I wanted to make Danielle say ridiculous stuff. BANANA!HC: (laughs)SV: Just stop right there.

HC: Alright, now I am giving you each three seconds to finish the following phrases. Max you’re first!MS: Oh boy.HC: If you could eliminate a US state what one would it be?MS: Arkansas.HC: A penguin walks into the BCC right now wearing a sombrero what does he say?MS: Hola b*tches.HC: What do you think when you look into the mirror?MS: God, you’re beautiful.HC: If you could be anyone else, who would it be?MS: Sam.

HC: Okay Sam, you’re up next.SV: Whew, take an interview I’m sweating. HC: (laughs) If you were a box of cereal, what would you be?SV: Cheerios.HC: You’re favorite thing in the world is?SV: Bed.HC: What song describes your work ethic?SV: “You better work b*tch.”MS: (laughs) is that even the name of the song?HC: The Stag statue that’s hanging on the wall just came alive, what does he say first?SV: Hey Sam, whatsup? (laughs) He’s really friendly!
