Gabe: It’s great! He is one of my best friends and backbone. I can count on him and having him here made the adjustment to college much easier.
Eddie: We are like brothers, we get on each other’s nerves, but we are always there for each other.
HC: Catch phrase?
Gabe: “It goes down in the DM.”
Eddie: “Gabe please shut the f*ck up.”
HC: What are three words you would use to describe yourself and why?
Gabe: Goofy because I am mad goofy. I am very outgoing because I can talk to anyone and everyone even if they don’t want to talk to me, and easygoing because I can take a lot of jokes.
Eddie: Friendly, caring, and motivated because I am very empathetic, care about people’s feelings, like to meet new people and set high expectations for myself.
HC: How would you describe each other in one word?
Gabe: Serious.
Eddie: Fun.
Gabe: Three letters? That’s all you can come up to describe me….
HC: What are you involved in at Fairfield University?
Gabe: Basketball Manager.
Eddie: Swim Team.
HC: Gabe, what is it like being manager of the basketball team? Eddie, what is the best part about being on the swim team?
Gabe: It is an awesome experience being able to be near the basketball team, I have been a fan since I was five years old.
Eddie: It is awesome being able to compete at the college level. The team is like one big family, which makes it easy to come to practice.
HC: What is one weird thing no one knows about you?
Gabe: I didn’t know how to read until the fourth grade.
Eddie: I’m a big John Mayer fan.
HC: What has been your most memorable moment of your first year at Fairfield so far?
Gabe: Going to parties every weekend at the townhouses with my best friends!
Eddie: Performing “Call on Me,” at the Fairfield Student Athlete Talent Show.
HC: Describe your ideal girl and the perfect date.
Gabe: My perfect date would be taking her out to dinner, ice cream, and then a long walk on the beach. My ideal girl would be funny, charismatic and athletic.
Eddie: My perfect date would be going out to coffee and getting to know her. My ideal girl would be someone who is easy to get along with, caring, and outgoing.
HC: If you were stranded on an island and could only have three people or things with you what would they be?
Gabe: Ryan Leonovich, peanut M&M’s, can I make it a TV…Is there cable on that island, actually my phone.
Eddie: Definitely not Gabe; coffee, a pair of chubbies, and….
Gabe: What about your surfboard.
Eddie: Yeah, that.
Gabe: See I know him better than he knows himself.
HC: What’s the most embarrassing thing you have seen each other do?
Gabe: Eddie tried to out push-up a guy over a girl.
Eddie: But I won…
Eddie: Gabe thought it would be funny to hit my car with his car but there was a cop right behind him…who then pulled him over. He thought he was being funny and the cop asked him if he had been drinking that night.
HC: Where do you see yourself in 10 years?
Eddie: I could so see you still managing the Fairfield University Stags.
Gabe: No, I could see myself coaching somewhere or teaching high school students.
Eddie: Hopefully working on Wall Street, with a happy family somewhere on the water.
