Chivalry isn’t dead, and it’s guys like Dom Paolino who are keeping it alive. After just a few words with Dom I realized what a genuine and passionate person he is. If you have the opportunity to meet him within the next week definitely take advantage of it, otherwise read on about this soon-to-be Fairfield graduate that we will certainly miss…

Name: Dominic PaolinoYear: 2014Major: Finance/MarketingHometown: Acton, MA

Her Campus: So Dom, you’re going to be graduating in just a few weeks. What did you love the most about your Fairfield experience?Dominic Paolino: This is an incredibly difficult question. I would have to say one of the best things I did all four years was just be continuously involved. Through senior week, concerts with FUSA, I have met some of the best people at this school and to that point I think the people of the school are what made this an incredible four years. There are probably hundreds of people I want to stay with after graduation because they are just awesome.

HC: What is something you want to remind every undergraduate of?DP: That the four years really really do fly by, and sleep seems important, but it’s not just any opportunity. You can get to do something new, different, or exciting, or hang out with friends because you’ll regret wasted moments. Also, there’s always coffee.

HC: What is your favorite quote to live by?DP: It’s by Woody Allen and it’s, “Showing up is 80% of life.” A lot of being successful comes down to effort and just being there, and that’s the best way to look at it.

HC: If you could marry any celebrity, who would it be?DP: Jennifer LawrenceHC: Why?DP: Because, I obviously don’t know her, but from all of the media attention she gets she seems like she is very down to earth cool celebrity who just wants an adventure and do something cool. She sounds like she is the person who is down for anything and she doesn’t take herself or life too seriously.

HC: Fairfield girls are the best because…DP: I think that the girls here are gorgeous obviously, but other than physicality they aren’t afraid to get involved or be passionate about something. A lot of the leadership positions here are dominated by women and I think that’s incredibly awesome, and attractive. (laughs)

HC: You’re going to miss Fairfield the most because… DP: Although some say we don’t have much school spirit, I would disagree. We have an intense sense of community and once a Stag, always a Stag.
