This week’s campus cutie stole all of our hearts when he dressed up as Russell from Up for Halloween. Not only is he a real cutie, but he is super smart and very personable. Meet Mike Vu!

HC: I heard you wanted to be a campus cutie for a very long time, why do you feel you are a perfect candidate?
Mike: Because I am the ideal campus cutie on this campus; I’m not hot, I’m not good looking…I’m just a cutie.
HC: What are you involved with here at Fairfield?
Mike: I am the club baseball manager and honorary third baseman and personal hype man for T^NO|MARK.
HC: What are three words you would use to describe yourself and why?
Mike: Personable, funny and I’m humble.
HC: Catch phrase?
Mike: “Let’s get this shmoney.”
HC: Where did you get your inspiration for your Halloween costume?
Mike: When the movie Up came out I was a boy scout at the time (Eagle Scout now) and I was always short and chubby growing up so people said I reminded them of Russell. Then when I got to Fairfield David Vitiello told me that would be a perfect Halloween costume so I said “Let’s get this shmoney.”
HC: What is one weird thing no one knows about you?
Mike: I’m in a weird love triangle with Alexa Tyner and Tess Fox…
Actually I was asked to be the ceremonial priest at Sarah Hoefner’s baptism but I had some other obligations to tend to at that time (being the Club Baseball manager).
HC: I heard you are a Magis Scholar, that must help with the ladies…
Mike: I basically have all the honors programs girl’s digits. Well my intellect helps with my personality because I’m cute and smart not hot and stupid.
HC: Describe your ideal girl, and perfect date.
Mike: Ideal girl is someone that I can wife up and bring her home to my family. She has to be cute-extremely good looking. Her personality needs to be A1 and she will likely be one of the blonde hair, blue eyed girls in my love triangle.
HC: Where do you see yourself in 10 years?
Mike: I see myself basically being the Wolf of Wall street with three children living in a Penthouse in NYC, driving a ferrari, married to…..
HC: Alexa Tyner or Tess Fox?
Mike: Alexa Tyner because I always wanted to live on LI (I want to be a New Yorker) and Tess Fox is marrying my best friend Gaetano.
