Attention all Upper East-siders! Eonline has officially reported that Leighton Meester and Adam Brody gave birth to their baby girl on August 4 in Whittier, California. Talk about keeping a secret, B! Although some reports said they welcomed a baby last week, E! confirmed the details.
The duo named their little girl Arlo Day Broody, a name fit for a true Queen! The private couple did not make any comments regarding their daughter’s birth, and since, no photos have been released.
Meester and Broody first revealed the news of expecting a baby back in May. The Gossip Girl actress, and OC star have been keeping their relationship private since the beginning of their relationship in 2013, after they met on the set of The Oranges in 2011. They secretly wed in February 2014, and things have been happily ever after since!
Since this couple is known for staying keeping their lives under wraps, it came at no surprise they were able to hide the news of the birth of their first child for over a month. Meester’s Gossip Girl Co-Star and BFF, Blake Lively gave birth to her little girl, James, with husband Ryan Reynolds over the Holiday’s back in 2014.
So yes, this is every Gossip Girl fan’s dream come true, Serena and Blair both having baby girls the same age. So how will both of these mommies dress their babies? We hope just like Blair and Serena of course!
