If Rory Gilmore Was A Member Of The Class of 2018

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Fairfield chapter.

If Rory Gilmore were to have chosen Fairfield over Yale, this is what her first month at college would have looked like.

1) Goodbye Chilton Academy, hello Fairfield!

2) Harvard? No. Yale? No. Sacred Heart? Definitely not.

3) August 31st comes quickly and leaving home is harder than expected.

4) Why separate the dynamic duo just yet? Instead take some quality time to yell obscenities with the rest of the freshman class on the quad.

5) She comes to find that college is completely different than high school.

6) There are no study trees here at Fairfield, instead there is copious amounts of coffee in the library.

7) The first weekend comes and she’s ready to hit the townhouses.

8) Three hours and five miles later, not one upperclassman lets her into a party and she has learned her place.

9) Come Monday morning she is still filled with regret.

10) The basic meal plan is simply not enough for her eating habits, time to upgrade to unlimited swipes.

11) Looking to become more of a Perez Hilton than a Christiane Amanpour? Check out Her Campus at the activities fair.

12) Wait there’s a career fair? You actually have to find a real job and build a resume in college?

13) Finding out that there is a copious amount of work to be done brings her to a realization.

14) So she takes to the library to study for the foreseeable future.

15) And just like that, copper-boom! The first month comes to a close. Fairfield University: you’ve been Gilmored.
