Recently, Her Campus Fairfield had the pleasure of stopping by ~Shearwater Coffee Bar~ to try some of their drool-worthy options. Shearwater is located at 1215 Post Road and is the perfect spot to spend an afternoon. This coffee bar is Insta-worthy, with light wood accents, warm-toned lights hanging everywhere, local artwork, and lots of natural sunlight. There are a few tables inside, a bar to sit at, a ledge alongside the windows, and additional outdoor seating. Also, there’s plenty of room to spread out all of your planners, textbooks, and assignments. This is the perfect place to feel a bit more inspired and motivated to get work done.
Okay, now for the good part- the FOOD! Shearwater uses 100% organic coffee to ensure their customers get the best quality product with the best taste. We tried a hot almond milk latte, as well as an iced mocha latte with almond milk. And they were SO good (and cute- how fun is that cup?). The hot latte had some adorable art on the top, and both coffees were excellent. They also have a variety of drip coffees, lattes, cappuccinos, and teas, so there’s something for everyone! They also have plenty of pastries too. We tried a chocolate croissant and monkey bread, and let me tell you everything was gone in less than a minute…oops!
You can really tell how much Shearwater cares about their customers! The ambiance is fantastic, and having free Wi-Fi is always a plus! Let’s not forget that they have plenty of study space and affordable menu prices.
Shearwater has just opened another location in Westport, and we cannot wait to visit!
