First Semester Senior Year: As Told By the Real Housewives

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Fairfield chapter.

Senior year is an emotional rollercoaster of enjoying the last year of college before being plunged into the real world (SOS). However, senior year is also super exciting because it is a chance to live independently on the beach or on campus with your best friends! First semester is the time for seniors to enjoy the ups and downs of their last year of college with their friends, which can be perfectly described by the Real Housewives.

1. It’s senior year so obviously you have to do everything to ensure it will be the time of your life. Nothing is getting in your way, collegiettes!

2. The struggle of sitting through the syllabus lecture on the first day of class, even though you’ve heard it way too many times.

3. Tuesdays now mean two-dollar Tuesdays and the day is instantly better! What did you even do on Tuesdays before senior year?

4. When you see the whole senior class at the Grape and realize you do not know as many people as you thought you did.

5. Then you realize senior year isn’t all fun and games because your professor starts hitting you with a paper due each week.

6. That feeling when you see how little the freshman look and realize how old you are compared to them.

7. Trying to gather the strength and energy to start working out again because spring break is just around the corner.

8. Realizing you have to be an adult and go grocery shopping since there is no food the fridge. The dining hall was just so convenient, people!

9. When people ask you what your plans are for after graduation but you’re still in denial about graduating in the first place. Can I be a college student forever?

10. When you’re completely overwhelmed applying for jobs, attending career fairs, and visiting career center…the feeling is real collegiettes.

11. Starting to get sentimental with your squad about graduation even though you still have the whole senior year ahead of you!
