On November 2, Entertainment Weekly released an exclusive first look into the live action Beauty and Beast film that is set to release in March 17, 2017.
The cover of EW for the week is a snapshot of the iconic ballroom scene with Belle and Beast dancing the night away. Belle, played by Emma Watson, is seen in the beautiful yellow dress that defines the character.
The film also stars Dan Stevens as the Beast and Luke Evans as Gaston. Other costars include Josh Gar as Le Fou, Gaston’s partner in crime, Ewan McGregor as Lumiere, and Sir Ian McKellen as Cogworth.
EW visited the set of the Disney film and got a chance to talk with the director Bill Condon and costume designer Jacqueline Durran. In the issue, Durran discusses the making of the famous yellow dress for the ballroom scene. The issue also includes interviews with the cast and a sneak peek into new songs for the film.
Before this exclusive, Disney had released the official poster for the movie that captures another fan favorite scene, the rose.
