Expectations VS Reality: A Night At The Townhouses

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Fairfield chapter.

When the weekend finally rolls around everyone is psyched to get the partying started. Sometimes, however, the infamous Townhouse parties turn out a little bit different than what you expected….

The night begins with you and your friends primping and polishing yourselves up…

Then you meet up with the rest of your friends and expect everyone to be like…

But in reality everyone is like…

Then 11:00 p.m rolls around and you’re expecting a fierce journey up to the townhouses in your sexy outfit and skyscraper heels…

But in reality its frigging cold out…

And it’s a lot harder to walk in your hot high heels than you expected…

Then you finally get to the party and you expect it to be like…

But in reality it’s a hot, crowded mess…

Then you think you are going to meet a campus cutie, fall in love, get married, and have little Stag babies…

But in reality the guys are more like…

You go to the bathroom with your girlfriends to freshen up and chit chat and expect it to be like…

But in reality the bathroom is more like a squished, soggy, and smelly sauna…

And then you feel like the party just started when there is a knock at the door and you don’t know who it could be since you are with all your friends…

Someone opens the door… and the party is over…

Then you resort to pizza, which never falls short of expectation…

Even though a night at the town houses does not always unfold the way you expect it too, everyone still manages to have a great time. By the end of the night all you want is your bed and for next weekend to come quicker…

Well, in reality, maybe you look a little bit more like this…
