The Dos and Don’ts of Midnight Breakfast

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Fairfield chapter.

Going In

Do: Have control of yourself and cooperate with the volunteers that are there to help ensure that everything runs smoothly.

Don’t: Cut the line and start a fight with the person behind you. I promise you that you will make more enemies than friends this way!

Do: Be patient. The volunteers and cafeteria staff are working as quickly as they possibly can to make sure the line goes as quickly as possible.

Once You’re There

Do: Have a great time with your friends. Dance and sing your heart out (eat a lot of great breakfast food, too).

Don’t: Be extraordinarily sloppy- this includes stealing random people’s food or knocking over tables.

Leaving

Do: Thank your teachers for cooking you a great breakfast and be sure to clean up after yourself. Then head on over to an after party!

Don’t: Leave your table a complete mess or complain that the food was mediocre. A lot of people work hard to make this happen.

Midnight Breakfast is a wonderful tradition before finals and we definitely want to keep it around so it is important to act responsibly and respectfully! Follow these tips and enjoy the time with your friends before you’re all separated for a month! Start memorizing the lyrics to Mariah Carey’s “All I Want for Christmas is You” now!

Just your average college sophomore. Except not.
