Who is this Michael Costello you ask? You might remember him from Lifetime’s Project Runway, or maybe you saw his mention in the Vogue article “Los Angeles’ Hidden Talent.” Either way, this popular designer is taking over the industry and is definitely a face to know.Â
Costello was brought up in the Gypsy culture; however, despite his strict cultural upbringing, he began fashion design work at the age of 8. He never attended design school and taught himself everything he knows. When he was just 14 years old, he created a couture collection with an L.A. fashion show production company, which helped him to earn his mention in the Vogue article. A year later, he opened his first boutique in Palm Springs.Â
Costello is now dressing a large number of influential celebrities, including Ariana Grande, Beyoncé, Kim Kardashian, Lilly Ghalichi, Olivia Culpo, and many more. Three celebrities he says he’d love to dress include Eva Longoria, Kate Beckinsale, and Sarah Jessica Parker (StyleCaster).
