Daisy Jones & The Six Cast Rock These 70’s Looks at the Premiere

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Fairfield chapter.

Although I didn’t live in the 70’s, I could tell you how iconic of an era it was for fashion. From bell-bottoms to boots, the style from this decade is instantly recognizable, making its comeback in the fashion world today more apparent. One of my favorite books, Daisy Jones & The Six is becoming a TV show and it perfectly encapsulates the 70’s vibe. On February 23, the star studded Daisy Jones & The Six cast took to the Red Carpet and totally rocked their outfits. Here are some of the most striking looks.

The show’s lead, Riley Keough looked stunning in an all black Schiaparelli outfit. Her velvet top and fringe skirt complemented each other. She also wore green statement earrings and velvet black gloves which completely elevated her look. Keough’s outfit was one that was both elegant and eye-catching.

Suki Waterhouse looked astonishing in a sheer emerald green look. Waterhouse is playing Karen, the keyboardist of the band. The green paired perfectly with the shade of her dirty blonde hair and definitely presented a wow factor on the red carpet.

Sam Claflin is a total heartthrob, so it’s not shocking he looked handsome as ever on the red carpet. The maroon suit is a classy look that never fails. I’m very excited to see Claflin’s portrayal of rockstar Billy Dunne and believe he will leave an impression on everyone.

Another all black outfit was done on the red carpet by Camila Morrone. Morrone plays Camila Dunne, wife of Billy Dunne. The Valentino dress is beautiful and is one of my favorite looks from the premiere.

Last, but not least, Nabiyah Be went for a dazzling look. Be plays the role of Simone, a friend of Daisy’s. The silver outfit was definitely unforgettable and stood out among the rest.

On March 3, the first three episodes will be available to stream on Amazon Prime Video. If you are in need of some retro fashion inspo and want to watch something with an engaging storyline, then I highly recommend watching Daisy Jones & The Six!
