Channing Tatum Is Finally Dating After Divorce from Jenna Dewan

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Fairfield chapter.

If you thought the Brangelina split was shocking, then you’re not going to believe this! Channing Tatum and Jenna Dewan, Hollywood’s cutest couple, have called it quits after 9 years of marriage. Although they’ve decided to end their marriage, the Step Up co-stars admitted to still loving each other and will continue to be a supportive family to their four-year-old daughter Everly. In a public statement posted on Instagram the duo stated, “absolutely nothing has changed about how much we love one another, but love is a beautiful adventure that is taking us on different paths now.”

The couple met in 2006 while filming the movie Step Up and shortly after, Channing showed up to Jenna’s hotel room at two in the morning in nothing but a sombrero, underwear, and UGG boots. Soon after, the two made their relationship official. The two quickly became one of Hollywood’s hottest couples.

Despite the speculation surrounding where the divorce decision came from, the couple firmly adheres to the fact that “there are no secrets, no salacious events at the root of our decision – just two best-friends realizing it’s time to takes some space and help each other live the most joyous, fulfilled lives as possible.”

Hearts are breaking everywhere, except for Jessie J’s of course. Channing and Jessie J have been linked in the past couple of weeks as it has been reported that they are “casually dating”.
