The CMT Music Awards bring together the current talented and well-loved country music artists for a night of recognition and festivities. This year’s award show was hosted by Kelsea Ballerini and Kane Brown in Austin, Texas. Here are some of my favorite outfits of the night.
Kelsea Ballerini
Ballerini has had a historic year with the success of her new album Rolling Up the Welcome Mat. The singer wore a gray corset-ribbed Dolce & Gabbana dress. The neckline of the dress highlighted a unique structure with white straps underneath the gray bodice.
LeAnn Rhimes
Rhimes chose a silver glittery semi-sheer gown with draping strings of sequins. The dress was eye-catching and bold.
Darius Rucker
The “Wagon Wheel” singer paired a classic all black suit with a stylish pair of snakeskin boots. I love how he took a classic look and made it more modernized with the patterns.
Carly Pearce
Pearce elevated the timeless little black dress trend with a bejeweled neckline. The varied length in the dress made it striking in style.
Megan Thee Stallion
Megan wore a vibrant blue and white floor length dress with matching white hoops. Her dress was tasteful and showcased a pop of color.
While some artists opted to pay homage to traditional country and western styles, others chose to wear more daring and trendy pieces. No matter the genre of style, all the stars looked fashionable and classy!
