The Best Dressed At The 2016 Oscars

1.Alicia Vikander

The Oscar newcomer looked fit to be a Disney princess in this glittering Louis Vuitton gown. Winning the award for Best Supporting Actress it was easy to see that Alicia sparkled both inside and out.

2. Cate Blanchett

While many were split between Blanchett’s floral Armani gown, we were obsessing over it. The soft, sea foam color of the gown combined with the intricate blossom arrangement were elegantly achieved.

3. Saoirse Ronan

The young actress, nominated for Brooklyn, stunned in Calvin Klein. The look channeled Ronan’s inner mermaid, enticing audiences with its scale-like detailing, and curve hugging fit. Also, her choice to wear green was because she wanted to represent Ireland on the red carpet!

4. Brie Larson

After winning Best Actress for Room, Brie Larson had a lot to celebrate this evening. Her electric blue Gucci gown with belted detailing and a textured skirt wowed on the red carpet, earning her a top spot on our best dressed list.

4.Eddie Redmayne

The previous Oscar winner looked handsome in his tailored tux. We thought the loafers were a nice touch to the fancy ensemble.

5.Ryan Seacrest

As red carpet host Seacrest outshined many of the stars that walked the carpet. The gray tux jacket was a welcome change in the sea of black suits, and anyway Seacrest rarely disappoints.

6. Daisy Ridley

The Star Wars star shined in an ankle length Chanel creation. The sparkly shoes were a nice addition to the already glittering look; solidifying Daisy on our girl crush list as well as our best dressed.

7.Chrissy Teigen

Mama-to-be Chrissy Teigen posted a photo of her getting sown into her beautifully detailed Marchesa gown right before walking down the red carpet. Effortless as usual, Chrissy had everyone oozing with jealousy as we watched her fabulousness exude.

8.Jennifer Garner

Jennifer Garner proved she is a force to be reckoned with in this classic Versace ensemble. The one shoulder detailing and sparkling bodice are beyond elegant, and her simple up-do allow the dress to take center stage.

9. Sofia Vergara

We saw a very different look from Sofia Vergara on this red carpet. Dazzling in Marchesa, the Modern Family actress wowed in a deep navy gown with detailed accents along the bodice and waistline.

10.Jacob Tremblay

The young Room actor might have gotten snubbed in the Best Supporting Actor category, but Jacob Tremblay took home the award for “Cutest Celebrity To Walk The Red Carpet.” Okay, we just made that up.

11.Lady Gaga

The gorgeous superstar sent the audience onto their feet with her powerful performance of her nominated song “Til It Happens To You”, and on the red carpet Gaga exuded the same power. This stunning Brandon Maxwell creation combines a pantsuit underneath a long white skirt that drapes sophisticatedly from the waist.

12 .Leonardo DiCaprio

While we will no longer have memes of Leo trolling the Internet we do have these lovely photos of his red carpet appearance to gush over. Stylish as always Leo embodies the look of an Oscar winner.

13. Charlize Theron

Statuesque is the best way to describe Charlize Theron’s Dior look. The plunging neckline accented the draping diamond necklace, providing another true red carpet moment for the stunning actress.

14. Jennifer Lawrence

Everyone’s favorite red carpet Queen, J-Law, kept it sleek and sexy in Dior this award show. The textured skirt and lacey top gave us major dress envy, while we also lusted after Jennifer’s smooth bob hairstyle.
