There’s nothing better than supporting an amazing cause and looking cute while doing it, which is why you need to come to Alex and Ani in Westport on Friday, April 11, between 5 and 7 p.m.

Her Campus has teamed up with Alex and Ani to host a Charmed By Charity Event, which donates 15% of all sales to a charity of our choice; we’ve chosen the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention.

Alex and Ani’s most recognized designs are their small, dime-sized charms that dangle from expandable bangles, which are made from recycled metals. Since their launch in 2004, the brand has exploded in popularity. The idea behind the jewelry is positive energy, which is incorporated into the hundreds of charm designs.

I love these bracelets because they are simple yet loaded with meaning. Whether it’s stacking them up or wearing just one, it’s a great addition to any arm candy collection. Miley Cyrus (pre-twerking days), Beyoncé, and Ashley Tisdale are just a few celebrities that also love Alex and Ani!

These bracelets are priced as low as 28 dollars, so treat yourself or buy a gift for someone special (Mothers Day is in one month!). We hope to see you on Friday, where you can rock your new Alex and Ani with pride and love because you just made a difference in someone’s life!
