Who really needs boys when you have your best friend? Although having a boyfriend during Valentines Day may seem wonderful, sometimes the best date is your best friend. Between endless laughter and going to town on a box of chocolate without a care in the world, your best friend can be the best date of all. And lets be real, the only two guys you really need in your life are Ben & Jerry.

1. You can talk about how boys are the worst. Because who needs them anyway?

2. You can eat as much as you want without worrying about food getting stuck in your teeth. Pass the chocolate, oh, and the cheese fries.

3. You two can jam out to Taylor Swift and shake off the thoughts of being alone.

4. You can laugh at your little inside jokes that no one else understands.

5. You can wear sweatpants. Enough said.

6. She understands you unlike anyone else does.

7. You can relate to each other on pretty much anything, which makes hanging out on Valentines Day so much easier.

8. You two can watch Bridesmaids on replay, doesn’t get much better than that.

9. And as Meredith Grey so gracefully put it, sometimes your best friend is your person, no matter what.
